The three-year-old was checked on the scene and BCSO said the mother will be taking the child to get a rabies check.

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — A three-year-old has been bitten on the face by a “huge” pit bull in Converse, BCSO confirmed.

Around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office responded to the the Converse home after receiving reports of a dog bite to a three-year-old’s face.

When officials arrived, BCSO said there were two dogs on the scene and the child’s grandfather was on the road looking for the dogs with a gun, but put it away when advised by deputies to do so.

When the deputies made contact with the dogs, BCSO said they first used tasers but then shot around four bullets which ended up killing one of the dogs. The other reportedly escaped during the commotion.

The three-year-old was checked on the scene and BCSO said the mother will be taking the child to get a rabies check.

BCSO said the dogs had collars, looked well-fed, healthy and even claimed one of the dogs looked to be around 125 pounds. Authorities added potential owners of the dogs could face jail time following the investigation.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
