Loose dogs attack three people in Gainesville

The two dogs have been taken into the possession of animal control.

GAINESVILLE, Va. — Three people have minor injuries after two loose dogs attacked them in Gainesville.

Prince William County Police responded to a report of two loose German Shepherds in the area at 12:04 p.m. on Saturday in the 7500 block of Brunson Circle in Gainesville. Officers discovered the dogs had bitten two people. When police located the dogs, they ignored police commands and attacked a third person and then charged at the officers.

One officer shot at the dogs, grazing one of them. Both dogs then ran off.

The dogs were found later that day with their owner in the Hillwood Camping Park, where animal control officers took possession of the dogs. Animal control will continue to hold the dogs pending an investigation into the bites.

The 7500 block of Brunson Circle is a residential area. Police have not said whether the owner of the dogs faces any legal liability for the dogs’ actions.

The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
