RATHDRUM, Idaho – Joe, a black lab from Rathdrum, is the latest K9 to join Idaho Disaster Dogs Search and Rescue.
According to the organization, Joe is sponsored by the Rathdrum Animal Clinic and will assist in disaster response situations throughout the Gem State.
A chocolate lab named Eagle joined the team in late 2023 as the Idaho Disaster Dogs has focused on training K9s for a variety of emergency scenarios including saving people from drowning and responding to violent weather events.
