Crews responding to fire at Colorado Springs apartment complex

The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a three-alarm fire at The Vue at Spring Creek apartment complex Thursday morning that resulted in the death of a cat and an unknown number of displaced residents.

A CSFD spokesperson said that engines responded around 9 a.m. Two floors of the apartment building were impacted with “heavy smoke and fire.” The fire was under control by 10:20 a.m.

One cat was found dead in an apartment, while firefighters were able to rescue two dogs. No people were harmed in the fire.

About 20 units were affected in the building, according to the CSFD. The fire is currently under investigation.

The Vue at Spring Creek is located south of U.S. 24 and west of South Circle Drive.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
