The Fairbanks Ice Dogs (2-1-0-1) started off on a high note at the NAHL Showcase – the league’s premiere recruiting event held annually at the Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota. They took down the New Jersey Titans (1-2-0-1) on Wednesday by a score of 4-2 to make it three wins in a row.
In the opening period, the Titans jumped ahead for their first and only lead of the night, coming on the power play thanks to Ryan Friedman. Fairbanks responded before the intermission with Ian Norkevicus picking up his first goal of the year. Later, with 14.1 seconds remaining, Adam Timm pushed the Ice Dogs ahead for a 2-1 lead.
