Brittany Furlan managed to save her beloved dog Neena from a terrifying coyote attack.
On Tuesday, Sept. 24, Furlan, 38 — who is married to Mötley Crüe rocker Tommy Lee — shared a video on Instagram showing the animal grabbing the dachshund from the pool before she immediately ran after it screaming.
The whole thing was caught on camera in home security footage, with Lee, 61, running outside to see what was wrong after Furlan managed to rescue the pooch.
“Neena is safe. I climbed up the wall and grabbed her out of its mouth. Thank God she’s a little bit fat because he couldn’t make it over the wall with her,” Furlan captioned the clip.
“If it was teenie she would’ve been gone. This is in Broad daylight at 1 PM. They are getting more brazen and hungry. Please be safe. I’m not even letting the dogs out anymore. This is ridiculous. Hug your babies extra tight,” she added.
“Trigger warning: I was letting the dogs out to pee and I was watching them and a coyote came and grabbed Neena in broad daylight,” Furlan wrote in text shared before the video.
“Please be very careful with your dogs. I’ve lived here for four years and I’ve never seen one coyote and then today this happened. They are desperate,” Furlan added in the text.
On her Instagram Stories, the social media personality revealed Neena was doing okay and had been tucking into some treats from the neighbors at home.
“Thank you for all the love. We are ok, thank God,” Furlan wrote alongside a video of the rescued pup having some food, adding a white love heart and a praying emoji and saying in the clip that it had been a “scary day.”

Furlan told KNBC’s NBC 4 Los Angeles the animal grabbed their 10-year-old pup at their San Fernando Valley, Calif. home. The outlet said the couple’s other dog, Teenie, managed to run away.
“I honestly wasn’t even going to do the interview because I’m so shaken up,” she told the outlet, but added that she did so because there was an “important message” to share.
“You know, we get lazy and we go ‘It’s okay, it’s 1 o’clock in the afternoon, nothing’s going to happen,’ and this is what happens. Sometimes you get too comfortable and I was standing at the doorway, thank God I always watch them,” she continued.

Furlan said that at first she thought the coyote was the neighbor’s dog that had escaped, before she realized what it was.
“This all happened so quickly,” she said, adding that their wall is 10-feet high and that she’d lived in the home for four years and had never seen a coyote in the backyard.
“This just goes to show it can happen at any time,” Furlan told the outlet, confirming she thinks the pup is “pretty worked up” but isn’t injured and doesn’t appear to have any bites or puncture wounds.
“I don’t even know if she realizes how bad it was,” Furlan continued, saying that Neena has still been “playing and eating.”
“It was an insane experience,” the star later said, insisting she was just “grateful” to be able to get to her dog in time.
