Woman leaves soup to cool for two minutes, dog seizes his opportunity

A video of a dog’s guilty face after stealing her owner’s dinner has left social media users in stitches.

The viral video, shared on TikTok in August, under the username @mitro_camp, shows the pup trying to pretend that nothing happened, but a stray noodle hanging from her mouth gives it all away.

“Left my soup to cool down for 2 minutes, came back to an empty bowl,” reads layover text on the clip.

A caption shared with the post added: “If it wasn’t for the hair in the bowl and the obvious noodle coming out of her mouth I would have blamed it on the kids.”

Dogs love food, so it’s only natural for them to try and eat whatever they have access too, but some human foods can be extremely poisonous to them.

Newsweek previously spoke with veterinarians to find out which of our foods are not meant for dogs and which we can safely share with our fur babies. Anything that contains coffee, tea, other caffeine products, is a no-go for dogs.

Chocolate is the number one food you should keep away from your canines. Because it contains methylxanthines, ingestion can cause vomiting, diarrhea, abnormal heart rhythm, seizures and even death. Dark chocolate is more dangerous than milk chocolate. White chocolate contains the lowest level of methylxanthines, while baking chocolate has the highest,

Alcohol, yeast, raw meat and eggs can also cause a variety of issues in dogs. Even certain vegetables and fruits are not always safe for our pets. Grapes, onion or garlic can be poisonous to our dogs. You can find the full list of foods to watch out for here.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 9.1 million views and 1.1 million likes on the platform.

One user, Powellina73, commented: “Licking her chops with the noodle hanging.”

Kelly said: “That is too funny. the look of oh that was so good mom.”

Diane Schepkens wrote: “He is innocent !! The noodle is just your imagination……..”

Jadeloppnow added: “She’s not even sorry. She just appreciates you sharing.”

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
