A 34-year-old Cumberland County man is facing animal cruelty charges after abusing his dog earlier this summer, according to court documents.
Dwayne Endress, of Carlisle, was charged with cruelty to animals after witnesses said they noticed him punching, kicking, and throwing his Husky/Bully mixed dog named Charlie in June, according to charging documents filed by Middlesex Township police.
Police responded to Creekside Lane and Aspen Lane after reports of a man “punching and kicking his dog” on June 8, the affidavit said. Witnesses told police they didn’t believe the dog would survive the night after seeing the incident occur.
