MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Mobile Fire-Rescue said they responded to a house fire on O’Connor Street Tuesday night that claimed the life of a dog.
The call came in around 6:30 p.m. and crews discovered nobody was home, but two dogs were inside.
One dog escaped but the other was in a kennel and perished.
There were no human injuries and MFRD is currently investigating how the fire started.
