The Fairbanks Ice Dogs (0-1-0-1) took the ice on Friday night against the Janesville Jets for their third divisional road game to start the season. In what turned out to be a dominant offensive display, the Ice Dogs picked up a 6-2 win for their first of the year.
Fairbanks’ offense put up a big collective effort, having multiple goals in two different periods, to overcome an early deficit and push out to a comfortable win. The action started early and often with Janesville picking up the first score of the game.
