FRANKFORT, N.Y. — Rover’s Do Over, a Frankfort animal rescue organization, is currently caring for a dog in desperate need of assistance.
Utica Police are working to determine the dog’s owner.
RDO has named the dog Theo.
Theo is hospitalized with parvovirus and requires round-the-clock care.
A woman contacted the organization to report that the dog was found and required help.
In response, RDO reached out to the Utica Police Department.
UPD and RDO has scheduled a meeting with the CNY SPCA for Monday.
Theo’s exact age is unknown, but the condition of his teeth suggests that he is an adult dog.

The City of Utica is working with an animal rescue group. This is in addition to Wanderer’s Rest. But this group isn’t a kennel. They, themselves, don’t house dogs.
