Thief caught on camera stealing two dogs in Colerain Township

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Two dogs were taken from their owner’s house in Colerain on Sunday after someone broke in and stole them.

Video footage shows a person breaking through a window just after midnight and putting two French bulldogs into his jacket before taking off.

“I’m definitely afraid. I don’t want it to happen again so I’m going to do everything in my power to completely secure. This is just a wakeup call,” said Kara, the owner of the dogs.

Friday, Kara got the message she was hoping for when a man told her he had her two French bulldogs.

“He was just somebody who figured out the situation was and wanted to make it right for both parties and give me back my dogs,” said Kara.

A few hours later, Kara’s two French bulldogs were safely returned to her.

Police say the man who returned the dogs is not a suspect in the case.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
