The Humane Society of Richland County will hold its third annual Dogs Donuts and Drinks .5K Walk at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 12. The event will take place at The Phoenix Brewing Company, 131 N. Diamond St. in downtown Mansfield.
“This is such a fun event! We’ve had such amazing feedback from last year’s attendees and we absolutely love spending time with our supporters. We also really love this partnership with The Phoenix Brewing Company,” said Managing Director Linda Chambers.
“The walk is a .5k, meaning it’s a very easy walk around the block, followed by a beer (root beer option available), a donut and some really great raffle prizes,” Managing Director Linda Chambers said. “We also really encourage the public to bring their well behaved, four-legged family members to join us.”
A dog blessing will take place prior to the walk. Zoom and Groom Mobile Pet Grooming will also be present, providing dog nail clips for a donation.
Board President Chris Kelly will DJ the event and announce raffle ticket winners.
Dogs Donuts and Drinks has sold out in its first two years, and pre-registration is encouraged. The registration link is available at adoptourstrays.com and includes an event T-shirt, beer, donut, dog bandana, gourmet dog treats and raffle ticket.
The Humane Society of Richland County is a 501c3 non profit, and receives no government funding. Its budget is supported entirely through the generosity of community donors.
