Huron Shores Hospice is holding its 8th annual Handbags for Hospice event this week, bringing 170 women and men together for a fabulous evening of handbags, food, drink, laughs, fun and fundraising at the Kincardine Pavilion.

The Sept. 19 event begins at 6 p.m. with the silent auction of nearly 100 high-end handbags. A short program will begin a 6:50 p.m. with a live auction taking place at 7:25 p.m. featuring Layne the Auctionista!
All funds raised during the event are being used to maintain the hospice’s two-bed residential suite at Tiverton Park Manor. The 2023 event raised more than $200,000.
Huron Shores Hospice is a charitable not-for-profit providing free end-of-life care to residents of Saugeen Shores, Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss and surrounding areas, as well as programs for grief recovery, end-of-life doula services and end-of-life planning workshops.
