Ice Dogs drop opening weekend road games to Minnesota Wilderness

The Fairbanks Ice Dogs opened their 2024-25 season this weekend at their Midwest Division rival Minnesota Wilderness, against whom they went 1-4 last season. Despite having more roster continuity than their hosts, the Ice Dogs met a similar result.

They lost their season opener, 3-2, in a shootout on Friday and fell by a score of 4-2 on Saturday.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse.
