Man charged after woman was ‘pinned to ground’ and had handbag stolen

A man has been charged and has appeared in court for multiple offences including a robbery where a woman was “pinned to the ground” and had her handbag stolen.

38-year-old Heath Randall of Donnington Green in Middlesbrough was charged following reports of a robbery at around 8.35am on August 13 at Middlebeck social club on Homerton Road.

A 46-year-old woman was “pinned to the ground” in the incident and her handbag was stolen.

That same day, car windows of two vehicles were damaged with items stolen in the early hours of the morning.

He has also been charged with possession of a class B drug.

Mr Randall was remanded in custody and will remain there until his next court appearance.
