CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga firefighters pulled 2 dogs from a burning home Thursday afternoon, in what has been a busy day for them.
The fire happened at about 1 p.m. at a home in East Chattanooga on Sapulpa Street.
The Chattanooga Fire Department says after rescuing the dogs, firefighters were able to get the fire under control.
No one else was home when the fire broke out.
Right now, there’s no word on the fire’s cause.
Firefighters from Cleveland were called in to help with this operation because of a massive response to a large house fire in Hixson. Read more about that here.
