Lakeland house fire kills dog but another brought back to life by paramedic, officials say

LAKELAND, Tenn. – A Lakeland home fire Tuesday morning killed one dog but another dog was brought back to life by a paramedic, officials said.

The Shelby County Fire Department (SCFD) responded to the blaze just before 8:30 a.m. on the 9300 block of Old Brownsville Road in Lakeland.

The fire was under control about 30 minutes later.

Everyone got out by the time firefighters arrived but two dogs were still inside the home, SCFD said. One dog died but the other dog was taken to paramedic Anna Chamberlin, who resuscitated it back to life.

Officials said that they believe the fire started in the kitchen.

No other details were released.

The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
