Avon and Somerset Police said officers were called to the designer brand’s depot in Shepton Mallet on 26 May following a report of a burglary overnight.

The force confirmed other items had been stolen as well and that enquiries were ongoing.

It added that officers were working with the victim to establish exactly what had been stolen.

Officers want anyone who was in the area who remembers hearing or seeing anything suspicious between 23:30 BST on 25 May and 04:30 on 26 May to contact them.

The BBC has approached Mulberry for comment.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
