The unlikely friendship between three pets has delighted Reddit users online.
The bond between the two dogs and their cat sibling had been shared to Reddit by pet owner Hannah Fowler. Her video showcases the unique relationship between Lincoln, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever, Ronin, a three-month-old Labrador Retriever, and Mo, an orange tabby cat. The video, which was posted on August 6 under Fowler’s Reddit handle u/2xxchromosome, quickly went viral, amassing over 15,000 upvotes.
The post had been captioned: “My dogs added my cat to their pack.”

Viewers were able to see the affectionate dynamic between the pets, as the dogs are seen licking and showering Mo with affection, with the cat appearing relaxed as he sits nestled between them. This charming scene, however, is not an isolated incident, but rather a testament to the strong bond the trio shares.
“They sleep in the same bed, they groom each other, and even play together,” Fowler told Newsweek. “Mo was rescued from an animal hoarding house in Minnesota, where 78 cats and dogs were found. He was 3 years old when he was rescued and adopted by me in 2018.”
She added: “Mo grew up in a crowded and chaotic environment, so he does not act like your standard house cat. He hates to be alone and follows the family around the house, room to room, whenever he is awake. The closer he can be in proximity to another heartbeat, the better.”
This need for companionship, along with Mo’s calm and tolerant nature, has allowed him to integrate seamlessly into the dogs’ pack.

“Mo was around when Lincoln was a puppy, and now Ronin as a puppy,” Fowler said. “Puppies bite, play rough, and are unpredictable balls of energy. He tolerates every second of it. Not only that, but I genuinely believe he likes it and seeks it out. I believe the puppy chaos is familiar and comforting to him.”
The depth of their bond is evident in the way the dogs have accepted Mo as one of their own. According to Fowler, the dogs demonstrate their affection by gently biting their feline sibling, something that some dogs do to clean and show care for members of their pack.

“My Golden Retriever Lincoln does this nibbling on Mo many times during the day,” Fowler said, who regularly captures these moments on video and shares them online where they consistently resonate with viewers.
“I always thought I was biased in thinking my animals were so stinkin’ cute,” she said. “But their love from Reddit confirms that they are indeed THAT cute.”
