Chelmsford-Lowell Elks Riders donate to Big Wave Dog Rescue

CHELMSFORD — On July 11, the Chelmsford-Lowell Elks #2310 and the Chelmsford-Lowell Elks Riders #2310 welcomed Sydney Fitzpatrick and Tammy Bicknell from Big Wave Dog Rescue to the Chelmsford Lodge. During the visit, the Elks Riders donated $800 to Big Wave Dog Rescue to support their mission of finding loving homes for surrendered or abandoned dogs and cats.

Doug Knox, president and one of the founding members of the Chelmsford-Lowell Elks Riders, said, “We firmly believe that every pet deserves a safe, happy, and loving home. Unfortunately, this is not always the reality. The dedication and hard work of Big Wave Dog Rescue in rehabilitating and rehoming rescued dogs and cats is truly commendable. We are honored to contribute to these efforts.”

The Chelmsford-Lowell Elks is part of a fraternal and charitable organization that raises funds for various local causes, including supporting veterans, providing food for families in need, awarding scholarships to college-bound children, and aiding local charities that make significant impacts in their communities, among other initiatives.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
