‘Paws in the Park’ Dog Walk & Festival Comes to Fairgrounds

The Montgomery County Humane Society (MCHS) announced the 23rd annual ‘Paws in the Park’ Dog Walk & Festival returns on Saturday, June 15. For the first time, the event will take place at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg.

From noon to 4 p.m., dogs and dog lovers can expect an afternoon of outdoor fun activities. The festival will include vendors, food, music, a K9 agility competition course, games for people and dogs, and the much anticipated dog walk as the event highlight.

The proceeds from the event aim to help MCHS goal to raise money for homeless animals and pets in need.

Online tickets are available for $20 per person. On-site registration is $25 per person. Dogs and children 12-and-under can enter for free.

Attendees who bring their pets must bring proof of rabies vaccination upon entry. Retractable leashes are not permitted. Additional information about the event can be found on the website.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
