LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – A Lake Charles man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after refusing to cooperative with deputies at a home on 23rd Street, authorities said.
Just before 3 p.m. on Thursday, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted Lake Charles officers in response to a man who wouldn’t come out of his house.
A sheriff’s office K9 was brought in, and the suspect, who was uncooperative, was bitten by the K9, Kayla Vincent, spokesperson for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, said.
