CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV) – A local rescue, rehabilitation and service dog training center is holding an adoption event in Clarksburg this weekend!
K9s to Furkids, Ltd., located in Reynoldsville, is hosting the event at Pet Supplies Plus on Emily Drive Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
The event is circus-themed, and dogs of all sizes and ages who need forever homes will be available for adoption, organizers said.
Anyone who adopts will receive three, free obedience classes from the center and will receive a free, self-serve dog wash, nail trim and other goodies from Pet Supplies Plus.
K9s to Furkids will be accepting donations during the event, and a vendor will also be on hand selling jewelry, keychains and other items with proceeds benefitting the rescue and service dog training program, as well, organizers said.
In a post on the Facebook event page, the organizer said after a massive animal seizure in Upshur County, they decided to host this event to step up and help.
