Wiggly Field Dog Park Opening Aug. 12

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Wiggly Field Dog Park, which is part of the new Romeo Crossing Park project, will have a grand opening on Aug. 12.

The 7-acre dog park, at 400 W. Romeo Road, includes two fenced areas, one for small dogs and one for large dogs; shelters and benches for relaxation; water fountains with pet bowl; a phase 1 agility course; and waste disposal bags and receptacles, according to the Village.

The dog park requires a membership or a daily pass, and annual memberships are available now at the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road.

The dog park will be open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year.

An additional agility course at the dog park is planned for the next phase of the park development, according to the Village. Construction for phase 3 of the park started this summer.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
