Berkshire Humane Society waiving dog fees

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The Berkshire Humane Society is participating in Mass Saves, working to save the lives of local animals.

This adopt-a-thon comes at a time where the number of dogs in shelters is growing.

The Berkshire Humane Society is waving adoption fees of dogs 1 year old and older. This promotion is to help the shelters dog populations get adopted that hasn’t been adopted right away.

“This week we have about a dozen dogs right now who are available during this promotion,” said Catherine Hibbard, marketing communications manager at the Berkshire Humane Society.

Berkshire Humane Society is also working with the coalition to help address behavioral and medical needs with shelter animals.

The adoption fees are waved through July 21.

You can see the list of adoptable animals on their website.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
