Two New Mexico animal organizations are joining forces to push forward a project that will distribute an innovation called the “Missy Trap” to animal control agencies across the state.
Spurred by the tragic story of a dog named Rambo, they hope the project will change the game of trapping and saving lost and homeless dogs across New Mexico.
NMDOG, an Albuquerque-based rescue organization founded in 2010, has been working with Santa Fe-based CMM Lost Pet Recovery and Humane Trapping, for a few years The working relationship began as NMDOG founder Angela Stell witnessed the CMM group hit the ground running, literally.
