A man was attacked and killed by three dogs in northeast Tarrant County earlier this week, police said.
Deputies were dispatched at about 4 p.m. Monday to a home in the 7800 block of Slay Street, where a man was found sitting in a chair dead in the home, according to a news release from the Tarrant County sheriff’s office. His wounds were consistent with dog bites, police said.
Investigators believe the man was attacked in his yard, walked into the home and died. Three dogs from a neighboring property believed to be involved in the death were seized, police said.
The Tarrant County medical examiner identified the man as Ronald Grant Anderson, 84.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
