Virginia Beach fire displaces 4 people, including child

A house fire in Virginia Beach has displaced four people and around 50 dogs.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A house fire in Virginia Beach has displaced four people and roughly 50 dogs from a home.

Virginia Beach firefighters were called to the 3800 block of North Landing Road on Wednesday evening. When they arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the single-story home.

The Virginia Beach fire department said three adults and one child have been displaced as a result of the fire. An estimated 50 dogs were also displaced.

The fire department said the origin of the fire was a bedroom in the back of the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
