Animal Control officers seek owner of emaciated dogs found dumped in Hamden

HAMDEN, Conn. (WFSB) – Animal Control in Hamden is investigating a case of animal cruelty.

Two dogs were found dumped last Thursday at the corner of mount Carmel Avenue and Chestnut lane.

One of the dogs was starving and very weak.

Officials said they think the dogs were being used for breeding and then abandoned.
