An elder millennial takes the Labubu bag charm trend for a spin — it’s a mood-boosting delight

I love knick knacks. Tchotchkes. Stuff. I spent my formative years nestled in the cosy, cluttered embrace of the ‘90s, collecting plush Muppet Babies in my Happy Meals and deciding whether to spend my allowance on another mall ear piercing or a Beanie Babie.

And while I’ve made a concerted effort to declutter and streamline as an adult, that joyful, nostalgic part of my brain has been tickled by the explosive trend of Labubus, the XL furry monsters currently seen dangling off designer handbags everywhere.
