Ontario police seek public’s help after rise in abandoned dogs

ONTARIO, Ore. — The Ontario Police Department has reported an increase in cases of abandoned dogs within the city.

Recently, a group of puppies was discovered in a dumpster at a McDonald’s on E Idaho Ave. Last week, authorities found a black lab mix abandoned in a box on the northwest side of town.

The city is asking for the public’s assistance by being extra attentive to suspicious persons dumping boxes/animals anywhere in the city.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is urged to contact the department’s dispatch at 541-473-5125.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
