PORTLAND, Maine (WGME) — A new indoor-outdoor dog park and restaurant is heading to Portland.
“Woof Play Eat” will be also be a coffee bar, doggie daycare, and pizzeria.
Dog owners will be able to bring their dogs, take them off the leash, and enjoy food and drinks.
The venue will also provide games and command training for dogs, and eventually host first-aid classes for dog owners and even puppy yoga.
The business owners say if you have a dog, this will be the place to be.
“This is really exciting, you know, it’s one of these things, when you think of, if you like dogs, who wouldn’t wanna work with them every day? You know, it’s a feel-good space, you can come in and just look around and enjoy what you’re doing. We’re excited to be part of Portland, it’s a great community, we just think it’s gonna be a great addition to the city and look forward to coming,” Brad Sterl, the co-owner, said.
The park will be membership-based but will also offer day passes.
The owners expect to open by September on Northport Drive.
