Puppies still missing after duo accused of dumping dogs in TN

PULASKI, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man and another suspect are facing numerous charges in connection with an animal abuse case in Giles County.

The sheriff’s department reports that deputies arrested Quenton Toler and another suspect on 14 counts of animal abuse and neglect and two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime.

The arrests stem from an investigation into animal abandonment involving seven dogs and puppies being dumped at two different locations in the county.

“Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Giles County Sheriff’s Department, and Giles County Animal Shelter 4 of the 7 dogs are now safe and receiving care at the Giles County Animal Shelter,” GCSD reports.

Three of the puppies are still missing and their condition is unknown at this time. The Giles County Animal Shelter is urging the public to remain vigilant.

“If you, or anyone you know, has found or seen a stray puppy around the Vales Mill boat ramp or surrounding locations in the past week, please contact the shelter or the Giles County Sheriff’s Department,” GCSD said.
