Woman arrested in Laredo after dogs found in small cage, one dead

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – Laredo police say a woman was arrested Tuesday after officers found three dogs in a small cage, one of them dead.

Police say they got a call around 10:55 a.m. on May 20 about possible animal cruelty in the 2600 block of La Parra Lane. A caller told police the dogs were kept in a small cage, and one looked dead.

When officers got there, they said they found two live dogs and one dead brown dog in the cage. Police say the cage had no water, no bowl, and little shade. The dogs looked thin and unhealthy.

Officers say the owner, 22-year-old Martha Irene Alderete, was arrested and charged with three counts of animal cruelty.

Animal Control took the two live dogs.

The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
