Hot Dogs and Cool Cats event helps animals find homes

DAPHNE, Ala. (WALA) – Bryant Bank brought together Daphne Animal Services and City of Mobile Animals Services for a free adoption event in Daphne.

The idea for the Hot Dogs and Cool Cats event was spun off from Bryant Bank’s Thanksgiving charities when they decided they wanted to do some good outside of the holiday season.

Today’s adoption event ended at 2 p.m., but workers with the groups want to stress that since it’s puppy and kitten season, the need for adopting is great right now.

Daphne Animal Services told FOX10 that on a recent day, they started the day with no kittens and by the end of that day 18 kittens were brought in.

While the event today is over, there is always an opportunity to bring home a new family member.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
