DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) – During the inaugural season of the PWHL last year, 13 former Bulldogs skated for their respective teams. Now, eight of them will be competing for the right to win the Walter Cup. As for next month, the 2025 PWHL Draft will take place where even more former Bulldogs will get the chance to go pro.
The PWHL released the draft eligibility list featuring seven Bulldogs from last season’s team: officially declaring for the draft.
The list includes four UMD forwards, two defensemen, and one goaltender:
F, Jenna Lawry
F, Olivia Mobley
F, Olivia Wallin
F, Clara Van Wieren
D, Hanna Baskin
D, Nina Jobst-Smith
G, Tindra Holm
The draft will take place on Tuesday, June 24th in Ottawa.
