Shining a light on rescue dogs

National Rescue Dog Day is on May 20, and to celebrate, “Live In The D” is highlighting two animal lovers who are on missions to help rescue dogs get adopted and live their best lives.

Christine OBrien and Tom McDevitt are both creative individuals who have turned their photography skills and passion for pups into a way to help rescue dogs.

OBrien is the woman behind the lens of Ruff Life Photography.

Meanwhile, McDevitt spreads awareness about dogs that need to find their forever homes thanks to his videos. McDevitt explained that he takes shelter dogs on DogVentures and makes videos documenting their adventures.

Watch the video above for more of their story and how they’re making a difference.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
