BLOOMINGTON — Columbus North’s chances of a Conference Indiana baseball title took a hit Wednesday with a 4-1 loss at Bloomington South.
The Panthers scored twice in the third before the Bull Dogs (7-12, 1-2) cut the lead in half with a run in the fourth. But Bloomington South added two insurance runs in the sixth and held on for the win.
Jayce Emmitt threw a six-hitter for North and was one of five Bull Dogs to collect one hit at the plate.
