Parma, N.Y. — A new dog park is now open at Parma Town Park.
Officials celebrated the grand opening of “The Bark Yard” Friday morning.
The park includes areas for small and large dogs.
“The opening of The Bark Yard is a wonderful example of how local investment in public spaces can really strengthen our communities,” Assemblymember Josh Jensen, who helped secure a $50,000 state grant for the project, said in a statement. “This new dog park at Parma Town Park offers families — both two- and four-legged — a safe, welcoming place to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors together.”
The Bark Yard is now the sixth county-hosted dog park in Monroe County. Visitors must be registered. Click here for more information.
