Last summer, first responders from multiple agencies from throughout north Mississippi aided in the search for three missing children lost in a wooded area in Wren.
Cpl. Bradley Starling and his K-9 Charlie, both of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, were awarded Medals of Valor for their lifesaving efforts in the search. Charlie was able to locate the children within 15 minutes.
