JESUS FLIGHTS TARGETED! HELP TO BOARD, BUT MIRACLE WHEN PASSENGERS WALK OFF.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If it’s Sunday, it’s time for Boca Rudeton — a look at the rude people who live in South Palm Beach County and visit South Palm Beach County. The last week is full of rudeness that our readers have captured on camera. We start, however, with a big “way to go” to American Airlines which continues to aggressively fight rudeness.
Anyone who has flown in or out of any airport in South Florida over the past few years knows this to be true: the number of people traveling with dogs, cats, or other animals is out of control. And the number of people faking injury or illness so they can board first is also out of control. While some airlines, like Southwest, require the allegedly disabled to obtain a pre-boarding pass (which dramatically cuts down the number of people claiming a problem), other airlines do not. These often lead to “Jesus Flights,” where people need help pre-boarding, but miraculously have been touched by Jesus while in flight and can walk off the plane.
American Airlines, as of May 1st, dramatically changed its boarding process to cut down on Jesus flights and those lying fliers. We’re linking to their announcement, below. But briefly: people in wheelchairs are boarded first — as they should be. But gone is the “if you need extra time, board now” message that often leads to half a plane boarding before fliers with top status or paying to fly in first class. This is already cutting down on the number of people — no doubt traveling with 24 emotional support animals — claiming that they should get on the plane first. They’re no longer invited to board. If people need help, they need to check with an agent. The new pre-boarding starts with the first class.
American already requires earphones if travelers are listening to entertainment — no matter how old the passenger is. Gone are the days of having to listen to the kid in 24C blast Bob the Builder or Caillou. American already requires people with animals to pre-register those animals — and keep them in a carrier — before getting on a plane. The new boarding process is one more step against rudeness. This is why American Airlines is the official airline of MetroDesk Media.

We don’t know if the woman in the photo, above, ever seeks pre-boarding, but we do know she was in the Publix on Powerline Road in Deerfield Beach with a dog. Shoppers wondered why, considering huge signs at Publix statewide say that dogs are not permitted. The woman allegedly told our tipster that she has a “certificate” for the dog. We don’t know if it’s a certificate of attendance for doggy school or what else the certificate says. We do know that it’s rude to bring your dog into as supermarket when it’s a violation of state and federal statute.

At a Publix in East Delray Beach, the above allegedly told our tipster there to “f-off” when asked he had the dog in the store. Again, big signs tell shoppers to leave their pets somewhere else when they come to Publix. Maybe this man has a problem reading.

At Doris’ Market off Lyons Road in Boca Raton, this woman was seen with her dog on a leash. Again, dogs are not permitted in supermarkets in Florida. It’s gross, it’s disgusting, and it’s a health violation. Blondie apparently didn’t see the sign — or couldn’t read it. We don’t know why the dog is there, and we don’t know why Doris’ didn’t kick the woman out.

Reading continues to be a problem in South Palm Beach County. The image above, thanks to our tipster, is a man with a dog. It’s also a sign that says “no dogs allowed.” We don’t know if the man has a reading problem or just like breaking the law. As a reminder, dogs are not allowed in most parks — especially those that have signs that say “no dogs.”

We move to parking now and we start at Sicilian Oven at Lyons and Atlantic in Delray Beach. The Bentley — of course it’s a Bentley — was parked for an excessive period of time. If you look closely, you’ll see the TOW AWAY sign right in front of it. If you happen to know the owner or driver of the Bentley with Florida plate JN582D, you might want to make sure they know that a TOW AWAY sign means DON’T PARK HERE.

And we don’t know if the BMW and Tesla are dating, but they sure are close to each other at Regency Court in Boca Raton. It’s Maryland plate 7AP4734 and New York (of course it’s a New York plate on the Tesla) LFZ-9649. Maybe you can all go to driving school together.
So who is this week’s winner of our coveted Boca Rudeton award? It’s actually American Airlines, for taking a major step in combating rudeness. We couldn’t be more thrilled that an airline is finally doing what it can to stop people from acting the way they act in the images, above. We only hope that American’s policies are adopted by other airlines, stores, and restaurants. Control animals and control rude, lying, obnoxious people. American Airlines, we thank you for your efforts. Read the American Airlines boarding announcement here.
We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above.
