EMERY COUNTY, Utah (KUTV) — Trappers rescued one more dog out of the 13 found dumped in a Utah desert.
Trisha Anderson with “Trusted Trappers” said they caught the female dog at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The dog was found not far from where she and the others were dumped in the San Rafael Swell last Wednesday.

Anderson said, besides being skittish and scared, the dog seemed to be in good health.
“She looked pretty good, actually. She was scared. She growled a little bit, which is normal, and then she allowed us to put our hands to the trap. She would sniff it, and I felt like she quickly trusted us,” Anderson said. “She was wagging her tail. Very, very sweet.”
Anderson said it is not completely clear if there is one more dog out there.
“If this dog is still out there, the dog is either hiding very well, or we’re trying to figure out what happened … there were two crates originally .. there may have been this dog in that crate that got taken either by the sheriff’s department or by someone else.”
Anderson asked anyone who may have rescued the dog to let her know.
She also credited a couple from Oregon, who originally found the 13 dogs. Over several days, they worked to rescue 11 and kept them alive by giving them food and water.
