No. 10 Bull Dogs fall to No. 18 Penn, No. 3 Jasper

AVON — Columbus North girls tennis dropped a pair of matches Saturday to finish 0-3 in the Avon Invitational.

The 10th-ranked Bull Dogs, who fell to No. 14 Avon 3-2 Friday night, lost to No. 18 Penn 4-1 and No. 3 Jasper 5-0 Saturday.

Annabelle Sun and Nino Akhalaya won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles against Penn and went 2-1 in the tournament for North (6-3). Aya Saad went 1-2 at No. 1 singles, beating Avon and falling to Penn and Jasper.
