‘Rock & Rescue’ pet adoption event brings hundreds of dogs and cats to Tulsa

More than 20 animal shelters and rescue groups are teaming up Saturday for a large-scale pet adoption event at Expo Square, aiming to find forever homes for hundreds of dogs and cats.

Hosted by the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals, the “Rock & Rescue” event runs until 5 p.m. and is free to attend. Organizers say the event includes adoptable pets from across the state, pet vendors, educational sessions, and activities on multiple stages throughout the venue.

Many of the participating shelters are operating at or above capacity, making the need for adoptions urgent.

For more information, visit the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals website or head to Expo Square before 5 p.m.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
