One man saw a Rottweiler grab the boy and rushed to help. Another man who tried to help was attacked by a pit bull. Neighbor Eric Harnum intervened, grabbing a shovel to fend off the dog attacking the child.Harnum said the dog threw the boy around like a rag doll and nearly took off one of his arms. “Finally got him off him, beat him over the head with a spade shovel, and then someone grabbed the kid out of the yard for me, and then I went up to the pit bull, beat him over the head, pick the gentleman up and get him behind me,” Harnum said. “They both came after me, and I kept beating them on the head with the shovel.”A witness said the boy was left covered in blood.”We saw the two dogs getting shoved back in the gate, and the little boy was in the grass, just covered from head to toe in blood,” said Rebecca Meattey, a neighbor who stayed with the boy until an ambulance arrived.Meattey noted that she had seen the dogs before and never expected such an incident. “I never would’ve expected that, I see them outside many times, they just are in the yard, definitely a surprise,” she said.Harnum said he’s concerned for the safety of other children in the area. “I love dogs but there was no need for that,” Harnum said. “I got 10 grand kids that age, it was a terrible sight.”Both the boy and the man attacked were taken to a hospital. Witnesses said they feared whether both of the boy’s arms could be saved. Manchester Animal Control took the dogs away. The owner of the dogs, who lives next to the park, declined to comment but expressed feeling bad about the incident.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
