Longview hospital welcomes new therapy dogs with meet and greet

LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) – An East Texas hospital is hosting a meet and greet for some very important therapy specialists… the four-legged kind.

With Wednesday being National Therapy Animal Day, a gathering was held in Longview to introduce 11 therapy pets for CHRISTUS Good Shepherd.

Held at the healing garden at the main hospital in Longview, the meet and greet was held to focus on how these animals and their handlers play a crucial role in patient care and healing. Handler Jamie Murray talks about the substantial, tangible effects that therapy dogs can have on patients.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
