5 dogs removed from High Point house fire on Tuesday

HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point firefighters are battling a house fire on the 2400 block of Ingleside Drive.

Firefighters said they arrived to the scene to find heavy smoke and fire.

As they attacked the fire, they searched the home and extracted five dogs from the residence. The conditions of the dogs are unknown at this time.

No one else was found in the home, according to the High Point Fire Department.
