
PORTLAND, Maine — The Portland Sea Dogs clinched their third consecutive victory at Hadlock Field, defeating the Reading Fightin Phils 4-3. This win follows a challenging series of four straight losses on the road.
Sea Dogs starter Tyler Uberstine delivered a strong performance, pitching five solid innings and allowing just one run while striking out four batters.
In the top of the seventh inning, the Fightin Phils attempted a comeback with runners on first and third. Robert Moore executed a surprise RBI bunt single, allowing Felix Reyes to score.
Despite the Phils’ efforts, the Sea Dogs rallied to secure the win, marking their third straight triumph over Reading.
