“Amanda and Clay are looking for a second chance—one filled with belly rubs, treats, and plenty of love,” ACS said in a Facebook post.
SAN ANTONIO — If you want an adorable addition or two to your family, you may want to make a trip to ACS.
On Sunday, the San Antonio Police Department were called about two dogs being trapped in drainage ditch.

“When Animal Care Officer Garcia arrived on the scene, he was met by five SAPD units and a fire truck—everyone had shown up to help,” ACS said in a Facebook post.
Two “scared and soaked” Doberman-type dogs were found down below in a drainpipe huddled together.

A ladder was lowered, thanks to SAFD, and Officer Garcia was able to climb down and save the two puppies. They are now warm, dry and smiley.

And these cuties now need a home.
“These two sweethearts are ready to find a forever home,” ACS says. “Amanda and Clay are looking for a second chance—one filled with belly rubs, treats, and plenty of love.”
If you can see these two angels being happy in your home, make sure to make a visit to ACS.
